Sunday afternoon we were invited over to Madam Enga’s for the afternoon. Madam Enga was married to Robert Enga, who worked closely with Stan Claassen. Mr. Enga passed away several years ago, but the two families stay in touch.
We anticipated a quiet afternoon at her house and were surprised when she invited her family and neighbors over. The food was excellent and we enjoyed discussions about the Cameroonian legal system, politics, corruption, and of course, Obama.
Madam Enga’s neighbor had sewn outfits for the entire Claassen clan, so Cassidy and I were decked out in Cameroonian garb for the day.
